QED are a well established Christchurch based duo that have performed a wide range of music at many pubs, private functions and weddings.
Rob Tate
Rob arrived in November 2005 from the UK with his family. He has been playing guitar for over thirty years. He has gigged in the UK for over twenty years and has over 1800 gigs under his belt either with bands or duos. Over 300 of those gigs were weddings or private functions. Rob has also run a disco alongside the live music at most of these functions.
In addition to this he has taught the guitar and keyboards for over fifteen years and already has several students established here in Christchurch.
Becky Faulknor
Becky has been singing all her life performing in various musical events over the years. She was in a high school band which made it into the finals of the Smokefree Rock Quest in 1992. On leaving school the following year she completed a Diploma in Performing Arts (Voice). This involved singing in Italian, French and German. Since then she has moved around New Zealand appearing in bands and duos, playing at various locations & functions, deciding to settle in Christchurch. She has been performing with Rob since 2006.
