Please read and acknowledge acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions for BANDNZ.

I agree to the following BANDNZ Terms & Conditions:

  • BANDNZ require that in using this website and its services you agree to represent your band or act online in an accurate and honest manner.
  • BANDNZ has strict guidelines with regard to the content on the website and we encourage all bands or acts to abide to the copy right laws regarding the uploading of all material for your band or acts listing.
  • BANDNZ reserves the right to remove or decline any content on the website at anytime
  • BANDNZ will not give out any information on its bands or acts without first gaining consent.
  • BANDNZ accepts no responsibility for tax obligations of its bands or acts. Your relationship with us is that of an independent contractor therefore it is your responsibility to pay tax to the IRD on monies made from your performances.
  • BANDNZ operates by taking a commission over and above the band or acts asking price.
  • BANDNZ asks that no attempt be made to contact the client during the negotiating process. Once a price has been negotiated between the band and client contact details can and will be released to both parties.

Before the Event

Once we activate your band profile you will start to receive quotes from clients interested in booking your band. 
The client fills in a form on our site with all relevant details and this information gets emailed to you. 
In the email you have the option to decide to accept the quote or decline the quote - by clicking on the accept or decline link. 
If you click decline then the client is notified and that's the end of the process. You can give a reason for declining; if you're declining because you're already booked that date the client may request another date.

If you click accept then you are taken to bandnz.co.nz and asked to put in a cost for the performance. 
Once you click accept you enter your quote price then we add our booking fee on top of your quote price and send the quote details to the client.

The client has the option to accept or decline the quote. 
If they decline, you are notified but are given the opportunity to re-quote if the client has declined because of price.
If they accept, you are notified and the performance is booked. The client is invoiced. Once the client pays their deposit we release your contact details to the client so that they can contact you prior to the gig.

After the Event

The sooner you invoice us the sooner we can make payment!! All funds for your performance will be transfered by direct credit into your bank account

Cancellations

If a client cancels your gig you are refunded a percentage of your quote, depending when the client cancels.

NOTE: If you cancel the gig then you will be paid a total sum of $0. Please be very mindful of any cancellation as it will reflect badly on both you and us at BANDNZ not to mention the situation it leaves the client should we be unable to book a replacement band or act.
